Support for the Myst games on Steam is spotty, it may or may not work with your system. The puzzles (with some notable exceptions) are well-designed and logical, so solving them feels like you've actually solved a problem by working it out, rather than just having pressed 'x' at the right time or found the right pixel to click (this is less true in some of the later games, although I think that even Myst V does a pretty good job at avoiding pixel hunts). It launches you into a really interesting world and lets you explore it, slowly revealing backstory and explaining mechanics. When Myst is good, it is intensely immersive and rewarding.
